About CIEE

The Council on Foreign Educational Exchange (CIEE), founded in 1947, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and the academic and personal development of American students around the world.

Through high school and college programs, CIEE facilitates international educational experiences that enable students to acquire knowledge, develop skills, and foster a greater understanding of a globally interconnected and culturally diverse world.

Its goal is to develop citizens with an international vision, prepared to face the challenges of a constantly changing society.
